Doodle

Please meet Elnoor, my new pony!

She arrived yesterday. She's a two year old hanoverian mare to make 16.1hh supposedly but I'm betting on bigger!

And for size comparrison! Person she is next to is 5ft4

dtalbot

What a stunning horse she is!
kaz

We have been to say hello today and she is a lovely 'little' lady.
I walked behind her as Doodle walked her in from the field - she was a bit jumpy walking past scary things for only the second time but she coped admirably with all the obstacles
lilwitedogs

Gorgeous!  I'd say bigger, too.
darkbrowneggs

Lovely - and I enjoyed the piccies.  Have fun together
Calli

Wonderful!

What height is she now? Old rule of thumb - double the height of the back legs....

What lines?

Such a shame you are so far away as I have a three year old needing starting by Lux Z out of a Voltaire mare....
bodger

You're speaking Doodle talk now Calli. The father is Elroon.
Calli

Yup

Dad
Mo

She's gorgeous
Hope you have happy times with her.
freckle

Very nice-but.....................Chestnut mare!!!!!!
Is Bean still about?
dtalbot

Chestnut mares = the best horses going for those of us who get on with them!
confused

  STUNNING !!!!
lizzie44

Shes very kind on the eye. But agree with Freckle - Chestnut mare!!! You could be in for some interesting times. Have you still got your other one? Love Lizzie
dtalbot

And love the way she is keeping an eye on the camera!!!
conundrum

She's lovely, and very scopey free movement, even at her tender age....and yes, she is a Diva, looking at the camera all the time..
Doodle

Milly never recovered from her field injury and has gone to a new home as a brood mare. Still got Bean, Gali and Bella at my parents!
lizzie44

What happened to Milly? I must have missed the post. Love Lizzie
Doodle

She was going really well then got a field injury to her pedal bone and went lame. After almost 12 months she was still not quite right and vet decided the chances of her coming 100% right were pretty slim
lizzie44

Really, really sorry to hear that Doodle - Milly had a LOT of presence and quality. BUT Never say never - who knows she may yet come sound and if not Im sure she will breed cracking foals. Love Lizzie
mrs tiggywinkle

She's a stunner Doodle. Have lots of fun.
