No! No! No ! Ladies!

No! No! No! Ladies you can't have one. How cute is this then ?

and talking of cute, things don't come much cuter than these babes.

I like the dormice best.....

we may have them round here, but I wouldnt know what or where to look for them.

if you have them in your location, next time you're out and about and you think you've spotted a wrens nest, take a closer look.  Dormice's nests are very similar in appearance and size.  The wrens nest is more compact and the dormices's is made with more longer strands of shredded material. They also 'drill' very neat holes in hazelnuts so that's another one to look out for.

I've never seen one in the wild. Seeing one, is on my bucket list of things to see.

Great vids - I think even my DH was wavering over the wombat!  Love the dormice too!

1 2 3 - Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww. So cute they should have a health warning. Love Lizzie

Thanks for the info re Dormice.

Actually, wouldnt know a wren's nest either, but will take some steps to rectify my lack of knowledge...after all, its the end of our busy time, and my mother thinks I do sod all all day anyway.

I thought these photos might be of interest  I do a bit of work with Dormice!
