New shed

All being well my new tractor shed is being started on Monday with the field entrance having a little road taken up to it. Shame I don't have a tractor but I'm looking forward to tucking the landie away in the really shitty weather. Pictures will follow of the progress. When I go to check for eggs shortly I'll get a pic of the bare site.

This is the space for it betwixt the log store and Turkey paddock

The 'road will run to it from here

Morgan the dog is project manager as you can see he's very busy

He's a Hubbard, we kept him and a couple of hens back from the last batch of table birds we bought on, they run with the egg laying flock & in theory will supply the next lot of meat birds. Yet to put their eggs in incubator though.
Dave C

Thought he looked something like that, that's why I asked.
Get the eggs in, let's see what you get

They say they don't breed true but I bet you still get a meaty bird.

So it begins, Morgan still supervising

Day three edging stones are down & concrete in for base.

Dave C - the stones are from our nearest quarry at Gorsgoch, so very local chippings

Finito!! Next week I need to move the gate to the turkey paddock that now opens onto a sheer drop - Hence the gate post propped up in the pics. A lot of tidying up along the edges of the access road and in a month or so to allow for any shrinkage I'll bitumen paint it.

Landie will be wrapped up in it by the B/H

I have severe shed envy
