New Bitta Kit...Well...
I dropped my little Camera the otherday  the Nikon Coolpix 7600 working ok with abit of selotape wrapped around it tho looks dead "posh"  
Anyway been looking into and thinking about getting a Digital SLR camera cause thats was the dream... ended up getting this little beauty instead 
Havent as yet had a play with it hopefully have a mess about this weekend with it 
Awww I didnt forget to buy Richie a little present in true tradition (like christmas...)

I'm just beginning to find my way round a new Cannon EOS450D.
Good fun and mistakes are just delete rather than another roll of film up the swanee.

 Nice one Bazzer, your's has 3.0” LCD like mine I think  seriously good and practical bit of kit.
As you say good fun finding your way around these cameras it's gonna take me hours messing about with all the functions and any mistakes just hit delete! amazing how far the technology has come on in the past 20 years wich is great because more and more people are turning to photography as a hobby and it's accesible now to everyone
Weva it be a £10:99 digi cam or £1,000 one anyone can produce amazing results

Not yet they can't.
Must be 25 yrs. since I stopped taking photographs and settled for snaps. At the moment it's more getting used to the functions rather than concentrating on content and composition. It'll all return in time.
If I've got that long.

it's all good fun though, and as you say Bazzer any cock ups delete its much easier now than when you had to constantly rely on film
Allot of gadgets and gizmo's to get your head around I agree but tbh on my little nikon I can quite honistly say 1/2 the functions I don't really use handy to have, but not needed all the time
The manuals get to me though... so in depth about even loading the friggin battery lol!

Only after 10pps. of Health & Safety, Danger Warnings etc.
I do not need to be told that it might malfunction on Space Stations or at the bottom of the Atlantic.
