My young birds so far this year ,

Here are the first of this seasons young birds .

The cock and hen

The offspring

Another wee hen waiting on the big day

This pair are just starting to use the box

And this pair are still thinking about it

The proud father kidding on he's shy, behind his drinker ,

I have another couple of pair not yet in the breeder cages , I will give them another couple of weeks , try and get a bit space between the youngsters ,  all good fun , and passes away a bit time .

Parakeets? (Or budgies?) Those babies must be microscopic tiny! Well done raising them! I like how the cage set up is, as well.

Budgies.....Rena.

Baby budgies are the ugliest things I have seen, big heads with big blue spots for eyes and tiny naked bodies.

My canaries are nesting in the aviary as well but it's all very random as they build their nests out of anything available and I just have to wait to see what babies (or 'micro-tweets' as son calls them) appear.

I breed Roller Canaries a few years back, always enjoyed the breeding season, but it can be frustrating, you can provide them with a nest bowl, felt liner, and nesting material, and they decide to build a nest on the floor of the cage,
