Outstanding!

I've never hunted with falcons, but a recently-acquired friend of mine has a few & has offered to take me along next time he's up in my area. Something I've always wanted to do

i always loved birds of prey and thought about getting one often, but waited until i was ready as its a big comitment, i had friend who had one and he bred these types of birds also, soon as i saw one i wanted one..10 years later ive still got her..watched her from hatch from the egg too, they are a very versatile bird and will almost go for anything and seem to do well in our weather.

Re: My Harris

it is a great experience mate..you will love it, this is a hawk and not a falcon though, but the falcons are good to watch too, hawks are more for ground quarry, the falcons are more suited to arial combat..pigeons, ducks ect

i wish she would mate to be honest..i act ask the dog and it is bdooly hard work..shaking bushes, walking through thick brambles ect.....but still good fun..honest

you cannot introduce a dog once there older, they need to be brought up with one from very young..otherwise they hate them
sod

She is wonderful bird, we dont have anything likw them down here just a rare native hawk and a more common hawk.
Polly

Fabulous - a guy that lives round here keeps them and he always brings them to community events so people can get a close look.
