Mum's birthday cake

My mum turned 90 last Wednesday, so we're having a (quiet) family get-together at my sister's tomorrow. I didn't have time to make a cake so I bought one, but I did the decoration! First time I've ice written, the last time I decorated a cake, I spent 6 hours painting a Thomas the Tank engine scene for my son's 4th birthday - he's 23 next month!

Just beautiful, well done.

That's brilliant 12bore - I used to hate piping lettering - could never get it that neat!

Thanks folks, 't was well received at the family gathering, so were the pork pies that I went to Lancaster for and the three dozen Welsh cakes I made.
