Minor Pig health Enquiries?

I've a couple of minor queries with regard to my pigs health.

Over the last few days, two of my free range six month old GOS gilts have developed a dry cough, I'm thinking that this might be down to worms? Last night I gave all three of them a 3mil jab of Bimectin. I'm wondering whether or not it would be a good idea to follow this up in a week or so with a dose of Flubinol fed to them in their feed?

And secondly, Gladys the sow has got dry skin, do I need to get some pig oil on her, or would some much cheaper cooking oil more or less do the same job?

one hit with the wormer should do the trick. a wallow for the pigs skin might be safer with all the sun about oil could cook her !!

With the pigs coughing, is that likely to be intestinal worms that have moved into the throat, or are we talking a different variety?

Without seeing the pigs I would not like to guess, sounds like you have jumped on it sooner rather than later and the wormer should do the trick.

We're moving these three girls to pastures new this evening. We're not selling them but we are moving them into a very large paddock with masses of grass.
They are very good with the electric fence. So good that we have a heck of a job persuading them to actually cross over the old boundary where the fence used to be. It makes what should be an easier job rather arduous.
