Medieval Banquet Anyone ?

A watercress farm in Hampshire is being plauged by swans which so far, have nibbled their way through 250,000 worth of watercress this last twelve months.
The watercress farmer is powerless to stop the 62 birds from plundering his crop because the swans are a protected species. It must be leaving him with quite a bitter taste to see his livelyhood disappearing in this manner.

We provide the hygiene at the factory that processes it next door.  I'm forever hearing stories from staff of the birds hissing and flapping their wings at them when they try to get from their car to the factory door
