Marrow Fat Peas

I fancy growing some large Peas this year and letting them dry in-situ on the vine so that they become Marrow Fat Peas. I've got a few Marrow Fat Pea recipes I would like to try out and develop later in the year and growing the peas for them seems like a good idea.

Any recommendations on the varieties of large peas please.

For Marrow fat peas you are looking for round or wrinkled seed varieties.
Mostly first earlies, some second earlies will however surfice.

Mr Big - Meteor - Feltham First - Little Marvel - Alaska - Wando - Thomas Laxton - Douce Provence are a few. 11 -15 weeks from seed to harvest.
Longer than that to fatten them and plenty of water.
