This is the latest project (finished now)

Take one old saw......



and a caravan chassis........



chop them up and re-arrange them (with a lot of thiinking and H&S planning...
and you get........



a mobile saw mill to take to the field or wherever....

yeah, the H&S was a big concern of John's.  This is why there is a log pusher so as to deter people from using their hands.  Its a fierce blade.  I asked John to cut a few of our logs with it to 'test it' so to speak.  He refused.

He is VERY safety conscious.  They tried it together to make sure the concept worked and the man he has made it for is fine with it,......I think John just was concerned that Kieran might want to try it....
Kieran is only 15 and is basically John's apprentice - he follows everywhere his (step)dad goes and thinks 'if dad is doing it - its fine'.
Im actually glad John is so mindful of my bestest boy, and not just to say'no' to a very keen lad.
If this dosnt make much sense please bear in mind I have been lambing 2 nights now, very tired and plied with drink at the Port Gaverne late this afternoon, for which I apologise.  Will now go and sleep it off till "Mr Selfridge"
