Jamie Olivers Italian Restaurant.

I had a phone call from my son Rob this afternoon, he and Jen were in Cheltenham and had just finished a meal in this place.

They'd really enjoyed the food and said that it was reasonably priced, which is a good job, because they've booked us in there when we visit them in a couple of weeks time.

Rob had a pasta dish with some of 'Jimmy's sausage in it.        When I said Jimmy's sausage, I should have made it clear that one of the ingredients was sausage made down on Jimmy Dochertys farm

There's also a dish of rabbit pasta on offer and all in all I think the menu sounds rather interesting. I'm looking forward to my weekend, especially  the Saturday, when we're going to Kingsholme to watch Gloucester play Wasps, followed by our Italian meal. Do you know, its ages since I had an Italian?

I'm really looking forward to our weekend away.

I've had some of Jimmy's sausages (OO-ER), they were jolly nice!

The next time you visit, I'll give you some of my sausage. Jimmy's isn't a patch on mine.

I went to Jamie's Italian in Birmingham in the Summer. Really enjoyed my meal. I was amazed how busy it was on a weekday lunchtime - not just with working people but with mums and young families.

On the Friday night we'll be venturing into the town of Bishops Cleave ( and we say that Welsh places have strange names   ) to sample the wares of a fish and chip shop, When I helped to move Rob into his new place, the customers were queuing out into the street and now that my son is nearly a local, he says that it really does make great fish and chips.
