ID please

I've got a load of these in the field next door to me. They look like an orchid to my uneducated eyes... Can anyone tell me what it is please?

Very nice flower - nice photo of it too, BUT:-
How big is the head?
How tall is the plant?
What type of leaves?
What shape leaves?
Where is it growing?

From a quick search I've come up with "Cuckoo flower or Lady's smock"

but not quite?

Cuckoo flower was my first thought, everything correct except flower structure -  could be a double. Are all the flowers the same ?

Double Cuckoo flower, mutation same as happens with e.g.  wild primroses  at times. Also can be bought  in cultivated form.

Sorry, ' been out in the garden all day so I've only just seen your replies

Many thanks - I'm quite glad it isn't an orchid as the farmer will be mowing them all down any day now!
