I've lost my cock !

I've got two strains of utility Light Sussex here but I've had a problem with both of them where by apparently healthy cocks just roll over and die. I've lost another one today and this time, it one of the Fred Hams birds that I hatched last year. I picked the body up and believe you me, he hadn't gone light, he was a good weight.
Touch wood, I haven't had this problem with the two other breeds that I keep but this last bird is the fourth or fifth bird that I've lost in the last few years. Very strange and if I'm honest, a bit of a nuisance. The ungrateful gits !

We used to have Light Sussex and a few of our cockerels did the same. One actually dropped dead before my very eyes! Never happened with any other breeds. Weird.

Yes my Welsummer (Clint Eatwood) did a while ago.

I was throwing them some wheat and he started jumping in the air and died right in front of me, was only 2 I think.
