How to get a septic tank into the woods

Ok.  This is just an excuse to post a funny photo:

Unsafe load?

You should have gone for the other type that are the shape of an oil tank.

Much less digging to put it in as you dont need to go as deep. Plus the hole can be more efficient as its hard to dig a round hole with a digger.

Did one for someone last year & the hole was just 200 mm bigger all round for the stabilised sand back fill.

You'd need a big group.  It's 4600 litres!

We need a reasonable gap around it as it's got to be concreted in and it was very cheap compared to an equivalent low-profile model.  Also digger is on site to dig out reed bed and compared to that the septic tank is a tiny job.  Overall it's swings and roundabouts.  You have a fair point though.

(don't think that a low-profile one would have sat in the quad trailer so neatly.)

If you go down in the woods today.

Very interesting can we have some photos of it going in and things, yes it does sit well on trailer
