How much is this boat worth.

How much is this boat worth? I took Kaz to see it but the problem is that I genuinely don't have an idea as to what is a reasonable price.
Thats yours truly in the stripey top with the boat concealing my curvacious manly figure.

The boat is twelve and a half feet long with a beam of five feet. The outboard has only been used for an hour and the galvanised trailer is in excellent condition.

I could do with some practical advice on this one. The boat would be ideal for my needs, good condition, stable and easy to launch and retrieve from the beach but I'm concerned that the asking price might be OTT.

Sorry not an expert on boat prices but could be worth looking for something similar on http://www.apolloduck.co.uk/ as it seems to be the biggest boat sales website.

This seems like a better deal doesn't it?

Nice boat and 2 good engines, a cabin ? depends what / when your going to use her, if you could have managed to get 2 or 3 hundred 's of the price , but maybe i'm just a tight scotsman .
Living as i do at the seaside wee working boats are available all the time ,and the price usually depends on how poor the crab/lobsters /bass have been.

Yep, seems as though it hasn't been looked after to me as well, as to Apollo duck, different price range but I rather like this one http://www.apolloduck.co.uk/feature.phtml?id=206281
bodger

I want one that offers stability but is still pretty easy to get on and off the beach
sod

bodger that is the most important things. A rfriend of ours has just sold his great boat as he is fed up of the hassel getting it in and out of the water
bodger

The first boat fulfills that criteria but the price the guy is asking for it, is absolutely ridiculous. First of all, he asked 3000 and then, after blanking the subject for a week, without asking, he dropped it by 500. I was tempted to offer him 2,000 but common sense tells me that even that is top whack.

Hmm that price makes the Orkney look very tempting! Or this one http://www.apolloduck.co.uk/feature.phtml?id=196505
Other end of Wales but a very attractive price!

That link isn't working Dave.

Oops, stray comma, fixed now!

Still a blank

Strange as it works for me, anyway go to AD and search on Orkney, about the 8th on the results is 16ft Orkney type with a piccie, 750 inc trailer. Ad doesn't say what the engine is but there is one in the piccie and the ad says it runs on petrol so I guess it may be included!

Copy and paste of the AD ad.
