HELP - baby bunnies

my top mouser cat has found a rabbit warren and in the past hour has turned up at the door with two baby bunnies - not hurt so i grabbed them. they are cold, wet, tiny and stressed. have put in a box with a warm blanket what else do i do.

I don't know

I suppose it depends how old they are as to whether they are likely to survive

not hopeful - but seems tooo cruel to just leave them to fend for themselves - unfortunately was too late for number three

they are both warm and dry and have perked up a bit, have put some yummy green leaves in the box and will leave them in peace for the night.

if they are wild rabbits, it is just as cruel to confine them......i would have knocked them on the head. what are you going to do with them if they survive?

you cant put them back, as mum will disown them, and cat will have another go at them.

Does this help?

sorry tooo much of a "townie" to bash on the head and far too small to eat.

my sister is a vet nurse and says just a case of waiting and seeing, although she knows of plenty of wild rabbits which have lived long and happy lives as pets. s'pose no different than the dozens of so called wild animals we keep domesticated - birds for example. and dont get me started on stabling horses just for our convenience.
