Hello Strangers!

It's been a while since you heard from me, I know.

All is well in our little corner of Cumbria.

Just to re-introduce myself, here are this years pigs.
For the first time ever we have 2 boars and I have to say that they are delightful little chaps.

We are down to just 2 laying hens at present and we are rearing 4 young cockerels that Steve 'rescued'. They are for the table but we might keep one.

I've got plenty of hatching eggs here should you want to increase your flock. 2.40p a dozen plus whatever the postage is. That's mates rates of course.

Do you have RIR eggs perchance. I wouldn't mind increasing our flock here and not too certain our RIR boy is doing the business.

Not this year, we still have a lot going on.
Sadly the Welsummer and the Light Sussex fell of their perches. Well, the cockerel jut keeled over one day. All happy and doing his 'business' in the morning, sspark out when I went down mid-morning.
