Grey Fergi?

I finally got the grey Fergison tractor home that i bought a couple of months back. Its taken me that long to get a shed sorted for it. The dip stick that measures the oil for the hydraulics and gears is showing that there's very little oil in it. How much oil will it take to get it tot he right level?

I'll get some pictures of the tractor on here tonight.

That is very much like asking how long is a piece of string! it could be anywhere between 1 and 10 litres depending on how low the oil level is.

If its virtually empty, as the dip stick suggests it is, then I was thinking of draining any remaining crud out and replacing it with new.

Prolly the best idea, would you know how old the existing stuff is? Good opportunity to change filters too.

Yep, treat it to an oil and filters service at least!

My pride and joy.

Now if I could just get that super deal with a cricket club beginning with 'A'

Excellent little work horse! When you are next in the Stoke area see if these guys are on one of their expeditions round the peaks and moorlands http://www.advtc.co.uk/. As well as the listed events convoys of them can be seen on the roads round here some summer weekends every now and then.
