Apologies to all those that may be offended but after the photo it was the 410. I keep the numbers of Fox's down for a few reasons. To protect My Poultry and to try and preserve a few Pheasants which I have been breeding every year for the last 5 years, so far the Fox's have had the majority. Also I keep Cane Corso's which seem to be very susceptable to Mange which they catch from the Fox's, it will cost Me at least 50.00 per Adult Dog to treat. A few years ago I had 6 adult Dogs and a Litter of 9 Puppies all with Mange the Pups were only 2 weeks old, luckily they all recovered well.

Lovely looking fox but perfectly understand your reasons for shooting him. At least it would have been a quick end.

Cane corso - another breed of dog I have never heard of. Lovely looking animals (I googled them to find out what they looked like). Look like tough, strong dogs

The views expressed by the management are not those of the staff.
Good riddence to the vermin.
They are not cute and cuddly and even worse than our urban ones.
bodger

I've got one thats got to go at the moment.
Bazzer

Wot, management?
Blimee Bodge, your either very brave or very stupid.
bodger

We also apparently have a fiox that is now going to have to go it having got into a stable this morning and killed all 20 of our meat chickens...only a matter of time now before it comes back for the hens and starts picking them off during the day...sorry but foxes are not cute and cuddly and where they are a problem they need to be dealt with.

I agree 200% Deb's.
Note to self: Must try to convert Scottie from cute, cuddly, fluffy, does not = ah bless, nice animal.

Think of them as the same as next door but ones furball that thinks your well tended garden is its own private bog!
