Flea beetle?

My pak chio and turnip tops have been perforated by flea beetle
What do I do next season, as I see derris (apparently about the only thing any good) is about to be made illegal!
Stock up and hide it?

I've still got creosote stored Stan, so it might be a good idea.

Is creosote out too, I saw some on Melton Mowbray market a couple of weeks ago, better pay them another visit.
Bazzer

I'd go with that Stan. Airtight container etc.

I did read they hate M....yte. You have to smear copious amounts over all foliage. That much in fact, your local shops will run out.

The real creosote was taken off the shelf a few years ago because after all those years of being in use,it was found that it may be carcenogenic. The stuff you can get now is probably either illegal or has been changed.

If you dont fancy eating derris Stanley you can always put a bit of fleece over the crops it will keep off 99% of the little devils. Love lizzie

Good idea Lizzie44, might try pak choi next season with a bit more protection.
My Chinese nieghbour was hoping for freebies, wonder if he likes Marmite flavoured pak choi? Can't see the holes hurting me, I'll not eat them!

This little helper's to bloomin late!
