Dog in need of loving home!

I hope this is okay to put this on here - will moderators please remove it if it's not?

I've had a phone call this morning about one of our bitch Jessie's sons who's owner has passed away. She was an elderly lady and Sam, the dog, was her companion. The lady's son has taken Sam in but Sam is in need of a home where he can be in human company for most of his day. He cries and gets upset when left for any length of time on his own and obviously he's pining for his owner. He is coming up for 9 years old. Not sure if he's neutered or not but I don't think he is. He is currently in the Warrington area and is KC Registered.

He can come back here if there is nothing else to be done but obviously with the 3 dogs I've got already, lack of space and disabled hubby, it wouldn't be the best thing for everybody involved.  So, I'm asking around everywhere I can.

If anyone knows anybody who might be able to offer Sam the home he deserves, PLEASE contact me as soon as you can!  Thank you! x

Here's a picture of him when he was about 2 years old when he came to visit us.

try warrington animal welfare  always try to rehome a dog with rescue back up,theyll homecheck the prospective owner and help with good advice.with all the dog fighters, dog dealers etc out there its just not safe to rehome a dog free to good home any more.i believe they even get couples with children or women to go get ftgh dogs then they end up as bait dogs or being bred to death or passed around for lower and lower amounts of money till  theyre worthless, just be careful and dont believe everything people tell you who might try to get him, theres alot of bad people out there sadly

Not sure now he's older Gorlan - he was never very keen on them from what I recall of him when he was younger.

Thank you for that Roo Roo - I will pass this on to the owners if he's not already aware of them!
