Do you know what temperature your freezer is running at?

We're going to try selling our frozen GOS sausages and burgers to the public. I've checked things out with Trading Standards and the EVO and although there one or two practices that I'll have to adopt, it looks to be fairly straight forward and simple but was surprised to be told that our freezer needs to be running at Minus Eighteen. I've no idea what our home freezer is currently running at, do you know what temperature yours is at? I've priced a freezer thermometer up on the internet at four pounds something, so I'll be sending for one.

Freezers  should run at -18C, that's normal.

A digital thermometer that can be mounted externally is great as you can keep your eye on it as you pass.

Cheers.

Sorry, should have said 'below -18C'.
