My beautiful Darcy lost his fight this morning and died.  Life seems very empty without him right now.  Simon has buried him in our top field by the house so he can watch the stags. Run free my beautiful baby boy x

Sorry to hear that Debbie, our thoughts are with you and Simon

Sorry - its so sad to loose a loved animal

My heart sank when I saw the title of the post
There's nothing that can be said to make it asny easier but our thoughts are with you.
Run free Darcy (and scare those stags off the grazing!)

Thats brought a lump to my throat Debbie. He was a lovely dog and I enjoyed sharing your setee with him for breakfast.

Very sorry to hear that Debbie.

Sorry to hear that Debbie

Aww so sorry you've lost your Arsey Darcy Debbie.  Run free young man!

So sorry to hear this sad news
Run fast and free, with the sun on your back

This is a  time that never gets easier, run free Darcy you were a much loved boy.  Thinking of you Debbie.

Grieve not, nor speak of me with tears, but laugh and talk of me as if I were beside you..I loved you so, "twas heaven here with you"

Oh I am so very, very sorry Debbie. Your house must seem so empty. Big hugs to you and Simon, love Lizzie

So sorry to read this Debbie, my thoughts are with you.

Sorry to hear that Debbie, remember the good times.

A very kind lady sent the following to me when my old boy died, and now I'm sending it to you.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food and water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable

All the animals that have been ill and old are restored to health and vigour. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together…..

Debbie and Simon, I am so sorry to hear about Darcy, it has brought tears to my eyes. Thinking of you both

Sorry to hear this.

It's a sad time, but try to remember the fun and unconditional love Darcy brought to your family.

He's not gone....just waiting.

Chin up.

Debbie & Simon - the tears started as soon as I read the title of the thread.

You know my thoughts are with you and although things are difficult now, in time the good time memories will shine through and the grief will lessen.  Darcy will NEVER be forgotten by you guys nor will he be forgotten by anyone who met him and I feel honoured to be among those people.

Run free over Rainbow Bridge Darcy - no longer does your body let you down but your soul and spirit will run for ever.

...'in the arms of the angels'.......    with love   our thoughts are with you both  Kevin and Dianne x

So sad all the best

Only just seen this, and, like others, my heart sank when I saw the thread title. So sorry to hear this Debbie and Simon. Thinking of you - it never gets any easier, however many animals we have.
