Dangled a few worms,

I  SUPPOSE I'M JUST A ROUGH OLD FISHERMAN ?  I have never really been into fly fishing , just something I never ever learnt  but I do enjoy a bit of bait fishing , for wild brownies , so with that in mind I set of on Saturday as usual I was ever hopeful of catching my tea , well I wasn't disappointed after a great day out in wonderful countryside I managed 3 brownies not big but keepers never the less and I helped feed a lot more young fish !! I caught them all on brambling worm, ( one of my fav baits )  Now i'm looking forward to Thursday when I'm of out again for another wee dabble.

I'm going to go spinning off the rocks for bass, Pollack or mackerel tomorrow. You can't beat catching your own dinner.
Jaycee

Did you get your spinners back?

No mate and not so much as a Dickie bird from him. Not to worry.

100% agree love it ,  usually manage something when i'm on the grub, sometimes a wee bit hard to come by.

Just back from a long weekend at my caravan , and had a wee bit fishing , 4 fish on Saturday night , but they all had to back, just babys, i hope to see them next year ! but last night i went down my wee local burn , and came home with a lovely Rainbow, caught on the world famous " Brambling Worm "  no fight whatsoever just like a lamb to the slaughter , ( escapee from the fish farm just further up the burn ) but a braw tea just the same .

This will amuse you all. I took my 4 grandchildren ,my daughter ,my wife and myself out from Saundersfoot on a 2 hour mackerel fishing trip-muggins treat(cost a small fortune)- guess who caught zilch ? while everyone else caught ok including the youngest 6 yr old  -My wife being a Buddhist was praying she wouldn´t catch anything -I must be a Jonah or Karma got me.
