Crab - how much?

How much would a freshly caught & cooked fresh crab cost please?
Gareth

From our Fishmonger, depending upon size, ready to eat dressed Cromer Crabs are anywhere between 5.25 and  12.95 (a very large one!) each. A decent size one for me is approx 6.50- 7.50

Thanks Gareth. Someone has ordered 30s worth of hatching egg and has just popped around with a lovely freshly caught and cooked crab. I'd like to do a swap but didn't have a clue what to aim for...so would asking 15 - 20 for the eggs be OK?
Gareth

I'd ask for 20 and 2 Crabs.

a 10 ready to eat Dressed Crab is a large beastie............... almost as big as our Blue dinner plates you've seen in so many of my photos!

I reckon that 1 per inch across is a very fair price.....I'll happily pay about 7.00 for one that is 6-7 inches across.

Scoll down this old post of mine......... that is a 4.75-5.75 Cromer Crab at today's prices

You live fairly close to the coast Sandrar, I get my crabs given to me.

This one was , I just thought it would be nice to cut the cost of the hatching eggs.

I would say if ue crab will give you a decent meal or 2 knock a fiver off the eggs, if you half the price of the eggs for a crab what happens when they bring you 2 next time?
If itvwas a gift they wont be expectimg anythimg off the price so even 5 will he a nice bonus.
