carp fishing

is it really holidaying next to a pond.

just called in at the carp fishery cafe for a coffee, the fishing lads were in there having a full English, that got me thinking looked around and saw there were showers, they would deliver your food to you, each swim had an electric socket for your stuff, etc etc ... not exactly plonking a float onto an old farm pond.

ah well, fishing in style i guess.

Yep, that sounds about right for the carp fishing boys.

Although us dedicated exclusive Predator anglers are not above the odd Full English at a venue's café, or grub in a nearby pub: The Café at Suffolk Water Park just so happened to open on the day when 21 of us Pred anglers decided to have our annual spring meet up and fishing session there. We nearly bankrupted them on their first morning of trading over the "all you can eat" Full English for £3.50 per head offer.

The reason the Carp boys call it a run is because they tend to stand around nattering and when a buzzer goes they have to run back to their swim.
Definately not fishing in my book. If I was doing a couple of days I'd sling one out on the buzzer at night but during the day it would be one rod on the buzzer and one on the float.
Still each to their own.
