Bread to last for 60 days?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-20540758

I know it's not chemicals but it's still treatment, and how do we know whether there are side effects?  People need educating, not bread that lasts for months.

We so very agree with you here Government have tried putting things in and lost out. Bread makers should want bread to go stale quick so you buy more

More interference with natural food
Where is the research to show what effect it has on the people that eat the products and how will we know if we have bought zapped products
Hopefully the technology will be too expensive for manufacturers to consider.

After the Chorleywood  method I'd thought things couldn't get any worse. I make bread every other day, everyday if we have visitors.
