BLACK PUDDING !

Black pudding ! You'll love this.  I was brought up knowing it as Pig Pudding rather than black pudding.

One of my favourite foods, I now get it from the farm down the road.
Love it with scallops and bacon, or with duck breast or crumbled into a flat mushroom with crispy bacon and goat's cheese...

I saw something on television last night, don't know what it was, but a couple of lines of conversation caught my ear...

"Black pudding, the reason I became a vegetarian!"
"Black pudding, the reason I could never be a vegetarian!"

I know which side I'm on...

I used to get it from the traditional old Black Country pork butchers - made with oatmeal and pearl barley. Nothing I've tried since has come near.
WhatCameFirst

I'm not a huge fan, although fried really crispy and a scallop on top... Om nom nom nom

White pudding is quite nice too. A slice of both for breakfast with a few rashers of bacon, mushrooms and an egg. Mmmmm lovely.
