Bagged a bargain

At least I think so, two pallet loads of blocks. Which will help build various beds down the allotment end of the garden.
Okay many of the blocks are chipped or cracked, through bad handling and are considered unsaleable.
Somewhere between 160 and 200. They normally cost between 60p and 90p each, depending on the amount you purchace.
But for 16 the lot, delivered...I reckon a bargain

Should cheer my Dear Lady up no-end, only just cleared the last lot from the front of the house..." They look unsightly"...   :

Great deal  even boken ones can hold things up

Sounds like a bargain to me, DD.

I have also just found a bargain this morning, I found 50, 4 meter long railway sleepers.

Railway sleepers over here are like hens teeth hard to find, they are going to be used to make some raised beds, and as a "wall" on two different levels of ground.

Price 7 a piece,.........I'm well pleased.
Mo

Well done

A day for bargains methinks!

We have just had our car port roof fixed and one of the lads eyed our makeshift pallet fence for containing the pups and said those magic words :

"We've got a yard full of pallets if you want some... "

I personally would have used my hands to pick those blocks up.

Like everyone else though, I do love a bargain. Well done.

You'd have to pay quite a bit more than that for sleepers here.

Here we can get the old sleepers @2.4m (Aussy hardwood ) $38so yours are very much cheaper.

I did literally, after they were delivered, got the down the garden ASAP.
Two pallet loads...only a dozen or so broken, The delivery guy had loads more on the back of his wagon..."Two lots mate.."..
To be honest I'm sure they were not the ones I viewed, all the Driver was interested in was dropping them off....
As soon as he was out the croft, I was hand balling them down the garden...
Wish I could have ordered more...

I was thinking that you'd moved those blocks golden retriever style and that was how you'd broken your teeth.
