Bad idea.......................

to mess with your lawnmower engine settings

I've just had to go & lie down for half an hour. On the plus side, I reckon that's the quickest that lawn's ever been cut
Baldybloke

What settings did you mess with? Ignition should be fixed and carbs are fairly easy to set up.

Tweaked the governer did we?

Our neighbour has obviously done the same with his mower, I keep watching for the bits rising above the trees.

Mine is due a tweak or two, I reckon it's run in now and could easily handle a few extra RPM, it sounds far too blase when I'm cutting the grass.

We did

I haven't run so fast since I was 17

Hey Woody, go treat yourself to one of these mate, I just have.

Turn the key and away you go, no puffing and panting needed, save all that for later.

There is even a holder for a can of beer, what could be better than sitting on your arris, drinking beer while mowing the lawn.

The lawn gets cut now whether it needs it or not, just so I can have a beer.

POWEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRR......................

Gawd! Just think of the mayhem I could cause with one of those

I would have no flowers left

As Jo is worried about her flowers, give her the mowing job, then you could sit on the patio partaking of a beer or two, while over seeing she does the job up to your standards.

Attaboy! I like your thinking
sod

I think one of those would half the size of our lawn   why mow what sheep can eat

ack emmmm   you can really go off people you know

Im a busy bee anyway, got too much to do and certainly dont have time to mow the lawn besides thats a mans job, I offered to help WS out once and also with the strimming but ermmm I was politely told 'NO' in other words he meant 'you might break my manly tools'

Besides I think its funny watching WS muttering and mumbling to himself as he goes up and down the garden and then he has the odd shake the mower moment while shaking his head as he attracts all the flies

Hmmm... I've been told I mutter and cuss to myself while I'm doing jobs, must be a "capable man" thing eh?
