A thought for today - and many morrows

No man is an Island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the Continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friends or of thine own were; any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in Mankind; And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; It tolls for thee.
John Donne, Meditation XVII
English clergyman & poet (1572 - 1631)

Why I wrote that quotation was that I'd just written it on a French forum, in reply to some NIMBY postings. I know it annoys people that I bore on about all this, but somebody's got to - it's all far worse and more urgent than people realise.
Anyway, Val, James and any other residents/visitors in/to France, you might want to see this and get involved.
C'est très grave.  :sad10:
