A quick one out.

With a little time to kill before my sons football. We headed down to the new permission which is a stones throw from the door.

We decided to net up a fairly big warren. And sat and waited with the dog.

The ferret was down a while until one bolted into the field.  :-* Steve (my son) wanted to be "in charge" of the dog so he waited with the Solo. The dog clocked the rabbit and was off. My heart was in my mouth,he was like a wee bullet and nabbed it just about half way into the field.

This is where I need a decent camera, all I had was my phone.

The little bugger did his usual lap of honour before bringing it in.

This was his first run out since his leg was injured and I think he did really well.

Although you can see from these pics,he's knackered  ;)

Time for the bairns football so a quick pack up,but one happy owner and one happy but tired dog.

Talking of knackered, I know how the poor dog feels. A hard won rabbit TF. Great post.

Good stuff Tayside.....I have had to stop working the Ferret's down here now as for the last 2 weeks we have seen littl'uns starting to appear, how has it been for you the last few months with the carrot cruncher's after all the weather?? Been hit hard down here but i think as a rule that is probably general countrywide....You gonna be breeding this year with the Ferret's Tayside??..In the recent  Photo's i captured below i will be combining the Albino Ferret with the very small polecat jill(last 2 pic's),both very good natured and the gill is about a third of a the size of a normal size gill
