I am the same great story but i believe it would have been kinder to put the poor dog to sleep i will probably get some agro about this comment.

He has 2 vets from his home to watch over him and he has returned to a heros welcome, we have a very good friend from there and she said it is hard to explain what this will mean to the people there.

I. too, wondered how the poor dog would cope, but having watched the short video clip of a very happy waggy tailed dog obviously enjoying all the attention it was getting I'm sure it was worth keeping it alive.

had to look twice at the photo.........poor thing, what a complete mess it must have been.  If its showing no trauma, then great result, but I shudder to think of the journey to complete recovery.
