A Good day

Greetings
A good day was had on the River Lung out on the Bog. The Roach were running to about 1/2 kilo, Rudd/Bream Hybrids were in fighting form and the Skimmers were starting to show. Bites were one a chuck for 7 hours.I estimate the total weight for the day was around the 50-60 kilo mark.
This is a cracking venue. Its one of the few Rivers you can run a waggler through. The picture shows the normal overcrowding!!!!!!!!
I was getting mugged by a Pike of around the 8-9 kilo mark. Of course the Pike gear was at home due to previous blanks. It certainly makes you jump when it snatches a 1.5 kilo hybrid just before the net
There was a Mink wandering around the bank. Next year that will be sorted as Kip will be with me. The jewel in the crown was a sighting of a White Tailed Sea Eagle. Just across the River at tree top level fending off Hooded Crows. Up to this point I was happy with the Male Sparrow Hawk in the tree opposite me as I was setting up.
A great day.
