A film set

in somerset to day   a busy  night, then came in sat down said me good mornings, got tied up nattering online, then left here at around 715ish this morning!
Got to Blinkers, had another natter cuppa and choci biscuits then loaded up the 3 trouble makers and set on me way to somerset
The  piggies were asleep in less than 15 mins!!  they didnt even wake up when i got there, and everyone wanted to see them!!
Blinkers.....they were stars before the cameras started, they are going to be sooo big headed by the time they get back
Anyway had to wait for someone to turn up from nirth wales, they had got stuck in brum, and was not amused when i started laffing at him as i was already there, the air turned a lovely blue and i had a cuppa, after seeing around the place and having a word with some of  production and going thru the piggie needs and not needs
Seeing as kev was still stuck, they asked me to drive  the pigs onto the set ewre they would be needed for literally 5 mins today, so they could be introduced to who ever it is that will be involved with them on film, asking if i'd mind being filmed!!! Yeh like heckers was i going on any film!! so i drove the van into the  square reversed it into place then ran
Well Kev turned up and i went thru a few bits with him,  cleared up a few bits and helped him get he's chickens out. I've known hoim for years and he's a star, just going to every were he is needed, plus helping out with the trekking centre he's OH owns, with the fencing and everything else.
By 5.30pm i'd emptied the pick up out, finished having a mooch about and
was on the way home      got back here at 8.30 exactly,  with meatloaf blasting to keep me going

So its a quick coffee, sort thru emails round the fields for a walk and check than back home for a good stiff drink

Alice

Aha! Shepton Mallet! I've seen this elsewhere on tinternet. The BBC are filming a series about the changing face of the 'high street'. Your pigs must be starring in the WWII episode. It looks really interesting

Self opinionated expert on cooking and food. Just a jumped up greengrocer and parrot of John the Toad on Masterchef and Celeb. Masterchef.
If you're blonde with ample assets and cook a pud. it's a guarentee that you're through to the final.

What fun Dans! Back in the 80's I was married to a dairy farmer (Jerseys) and we were approached to provide a cow for an advert for a kiddies boardgame. The cow was supposed to put her head through this barn window and moo at the children sitting happily playing said board game inside. Ha Ha it took all day to get the shot right -there was cow sh*t everywhere and 2 of the kids were terrified of the cow. Fun and games - but the catering truck was fabulous and the paycheck wasnt bad either! Love Lizzie

lizzie....they asked for my jersey    they wanted something to milk by hand, which, fair enough you can with her , but....and its a big but too, she hates change    if she'd of gone there and got loose i'd still be trying to  get her now!!
