A birthday treat for....

My old tractor.. I managed to get hold of a cab for my old tractor, it had no roof and no glass basically just the frame and two side windows.

Complete with new doors made from scratch.... not exactly the same as the originals but near enough....


Just got to plate the bottoms in then all good  

Oh and a set of lights fitted to the top all wired in and working

Thats a great job !!! well done , certainly beats , a t shirt ,shirt, trousers, boilersuit , jersey, waistcoat ,jacket, parka, oilskins trousers ,+jacket ,gloves , hat , ????  then ???? now what was i going to do ? oh --- i cant climb up on my tractor now , and then when you do ---- you have forgotten to open the gate !!

Did think at the time you would struggle mate    

I cant remember what IH you have    if you let me know,  I know a guy who I bought some sheep and he has loads of tractors hes breaking.

Remember that  so well     going to get cows in at 4:30am mid winter then take off milk, put on to put them away and so on all day and next   NO more   small block now

Make sure you can take the doors off easily.  When we are hay making in my David Brown it gets very hot so we slip the doors off making it really cool. (ish).

One of the reasons the old doors are very rarely with the tractors is because they came off so easily !! I hinged mine with stainless hinges and riveted them on so I couldn't take them off    to be honest they spend most of their time tied back
