25 minutes fighting a ferret!

Why did it take firefighters 25 minutes to stop a ferret getting to this baby?

By looking at the injuries I would say the correct word to use is "Nibbled" not "Savaged"

"It popped out of the bush"

"It sank it's TEETH into the finger.....TEETH   I must be missing something here.

Oh well it is the Daily Mail
milkermel

last seen dragging a cow into a sewer!

Not nice to happen, but tbh that little nick on the finger certainly does look like it had sunk its teeth in that much!  I had a baby ferret give me a much bigger war wound once.

Funny for the ferret to want to keep trying to get back to them  would love to have it running in my back porch where the burglar got in ideal guard!

I think there will be a lot of dissapointed housewifes today , the ones who used to dream of fit, hunks , in firemens uniforms , oh dear 25 mins fighting to fend of a ferret , now imagine if it had been a cat !!!!! with 9 lives !!!

The (extended!) report on BBC Radio Lancs went on for ages, with live phone in interviews of the victims and heroes.

Utterly ridulous, sensationalised, ill-informed and nonsensical junk, obviously written by a drunken hack with little or no interest in the integrity of what he or she gets away with writing!

Complete tripe! I've never read such unmitigated balls in my life.

IF it were a ferret, how did it get into the pram? (and if it did, that 'savage bite' probably resulted as it received an accidental clobber from the wee one)

'Minky-coloured'.............well? Was it minky-coloured? Or was it ferret-coloured? You do get wild mink (but they  tend not to wear collars), but there's no such thing as a 'wild' ferret.

And as for the 'pretty sure it was wearing a collar' comment?

Erm..........she then goes on to say ''I think it must have been wild, it was ferocious'

Just decided to dress up for its big day then, did it?

And as for the 'leapt from a bush' remark? Well, that's what they do, innit? Ferrets are also well-known as man-eating ambush predators that enjoy nothing more than lying in wait for toddlers in pushchairs.

And let's not leave this wee gem out ''Everyone knows ferrets have razor sharp teeth and that they like to cling on'

Erm, no they don't...........they have pointy teeth & they don't like to cling on unless you're rabbit-flavoured.

And please don't let me get started on the brave Fire Brigade heroes

What a pile of utter pish.................

Almost as bad as the link in the middle of the 'article'

'Bird of prey twice swooped on my handbag dog and tried to snatch it in Berkshire park,' claims model

Pathetic tabloid rag should be banned

Woodsmoke.....Someone wanted to earn a quick buck..that's all.

Redtop rags irritate the hell out of me at the best of times..............this nonsense just makes me bite like a ferret jumping out of a bush & attacking a baby, that's all................

It's the "In thing" nowadays.

Most people would do anthing to get on TV or to have their mug printed in a newspaper.

Sad state of affairs really
