I do like the look of Ida, do you use her for any other hunting than tree rats?

Do you sell the skins?

Do you bbq the meat, my BIL bbq'ed some tree rat last time I was in the UK.

It was well based with a good hot chilli sauce, and very good it was to.

Ida does a bit of coon hunting too , but i mostly squirrel hunt her. the mountain cur breed are used for just about anything with fur. i know people who use them for hogs , bobcat , and coyotes , even mountain lions , out west, but most are squirrel and/or coon dogs.
there is no market for a squirrel hide like there is for coons, but some sell the squirrel tails to fishing lure mfg. companies.
i have bar b qued them on grill or long and slow with sauce in a crock pot but usually eaten fried, like chicken, or used in a gravy or gumbo.
.
