Another first for Morfa Nefyn Orchard. I can't recall ever having seen any Yellow Hammers on our place before but this morning there's been a small flock of about six or seven of them feeding in one the  pig fields that's been allowed to run fallow over the winter. I feel quite elated and privileged  at having seen them .

I haven't seen any locally for yonks. They used to be a pretty common sight in the countryside around here.
