Like most people, I've heard mutterings about the 'Slow Food Movement' but know very little about the organisation its self. I've recently come across this website and have found it be very informative.

Make sure that you check this particular page out. I found some of the video interviews to be quite inspirational. Which of any of these could you see yourself doing ?

I always thought it was about eating roast sloth.

Two local towns are into the slow food thing- Ludlow and Bridgnorth

Hillary Bradt of Bradt travel publishing has a book coming out in may called Slow Devon.  half the book is about Devon and the other half about ethical "slow" food producers - we're in it Good book having seen a prepublication copy and definitely a must for anyone holidaying down here and who are into their food.
