When I was an apprentice Agricultural Engineer at college, building and running a small scale muck to methane converter was the project I chose towards my finals.

It can be a lot simpler than you originally think.

We would be quids-in on this!  

We use a Terra Vac to clean our paddocks, and with 7 beasties on there, thats a lot of horsemuck!

Mind you, a chap from an allotment downtown is coming soon with his big tipper lorry to take a load!

The best thing about digesting the muck for methane is that it still makes a good organic ferterliser after it has been through the gas digesting process
