Much to my shame  I've found some of my old sea fishing lures that have become rather tarnished, if not rusty.  Fishing spinners can be pretty expensive and the one's that I've found could be perfectly serviceable again, if I give them new treble hooks and sand them down, followed by a quick paint job with chrome like paint.
The paint obviously needs to give a nice sparkly finish and I was wondering if people could come up with suggestions as to what sort of paint I should be looking to get?

You'll not get a chrome like finish paint without parting with a good sized wedge, but grey primer and wheel silver paint from Halfords or your local motor factor shop might do.

Dura-glit or solvol-autosol should be sufficient enough to clean up the lures and then maybe add some colourful reflective prism tape to one side using some epoxy resin will do a lovely job. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hologra...7640?var=&hash=item4640128a78

I don't suppose sorting them out for me if I post them to you?
I've taken a photo of them, which I'll get Kaz to put on here later on today.

Go on then!

I just so happens I will be spraying gloss Aluminium silver enamel paint on Wednesday or Thursday next week, and I'm certain I have some blue prism tape and clear epoxy resin about in my lure craft box.

Cut the hooks and swivels off, and I'll do the rest.

I do not want any sharps in the post please, as Ruth our postie is a very good friend: I've known her for years............... she was my next door neighbour when I had my flat.

If a hook stuck in her, then she'd be the first thing I'd have caught in years.
Will do. PM that address of yours again please.

Looks like he's gone AWOL, Bodger.
You could say he's got you "hook, line and sinker!"
Joking, honestly.
