Had to have our old Pointer put down last night.

He was a good age for a big dog- knocking on 12. He drove me crazy with his dribbling and idiotic behaviour, but like any dog, they sure leave a big hole in your life. Funny how  things come out in these situations- the Mother in Law who lives next door said she will miss him coming to the door for his daily biscuits- not dog biscuits- but posh chocolate biscuits. she nevers offers me any!!!

I was all pragmatic about it until I walked into the surgery- must have been a funny sight seeing a big oaf like myself blubbing like a baby!!

God bless you James We had some great times

So so sorry.  Its really sad having to lose a dog, and even worse when its you that has to make that decision, but having met you I just know he had a wonderful life, and the sad thing about dogs is that we have to lose them. Heartfelt (((((hugs)))))  - Sue

Sorry to read this Stu, there will be lots of things that will remind you of him, and I'm sure he had the best 12 years any dog could wish for.

Why do people joke about your chins?
