We went for a walk around Conwy Honey Fair a few weeks ago and there was someone selling "organic" honey. How can they call it organic when they have no control of where the bees forage?

Well I don't think there can. I suppose they might mean that they have not treated the bees with any chemicals etc but that doesn't explain how the bees would not forage on anything outside the control of the beekeeper.

Labelling regulations are changing in the next year or so and this will be made illegal.  Its probably already illegal, certainly misleading, but who is going to police it?

That's the trouble. Even if trading standards stumbled upon it they probably wouldn't know anyway.
