The television viewing last night wasn't particularly thrilling last night, so I took myself into the living room with a glass of 'Old Speckled Hen' and made myself comfortable before starting to re-watch the DVD of the Victorian Farm TV series.

I hadn't seen it for a few years and I'd forgotten just how good it was. In truth, there were parts of it that I couldn't remember having watched and I thoroughly enjoyed myself for an hour in front of the gogglebox !

Some of the later series of Ruth, Peter and Alex were pretty naff but the earlier ones are quite brilliant. I've still quite a bit of this one to watch and I'm looking forward to a few more quiet hours watching it.

That reminds me, I mustn't forget to get a Valentines card to send to Ruthy !
