By our own Pilsbury.  Additive free and ethically sauced healthy snacks.  Can't believe he hasn't been on this section before...too modest I think......having sampled a fair few of his snacks today I can honestly say he is a food hero of mine.

Good on you Pilsbury

Oh  and my favourite so far - you gotta believe it - the love it or hate it mushroom munchies - sorry Bazzer but they are to die for!  Oh and the fruit schrolls are right up there too - the flavour of the strawberry one is unbelievable.

I know but I have got to be honest John.  They only arrived at 11am this morning and so far the red wine and pepper jerky has disappeared as has the jamaican, half the love it or hate it mushrooms, the strawberry scroll and half the vanilla and apple scroll...seriously don't stsay around long

Tony, your brilliant - and hey - its all healthy guilt free

thanks, we have worked out that all of the mushroom munchies are less than 100 calories each 25g pack and they are fat free and the Jerky is about 125 - 150 calories per 25g, not had a chance to analyis the fruti scrolls yet.

Just knocked up my first batch of marmite liver jerky, still very strange to make liver jerky but it does seem to work well.

Talking of liver jerkies - thanks for the sample of the Chilli Liver ones Pilsbury.  They're fantastic.  Not sure I could eat a whole pack in one go though (as I can with your mushrooms) due to the concentration of the liver flavour.

Tried some on a friend last night and he asked which liver you use - he's just curious as he found the liver flavour very, very strong.

PS - Managed to drop one on the floor and the dog wolfed it down . . . then proceeded to hassle everyone for a bit of theirs.

its lambs liver as its the mildest although after concentrating the flavour youmight not think it, also it avoids all the various hassles with pork and beef in religon (sp)

as for dog treats we used to trim all the off cuts and waste from the beef and dry that seperatly as dog treats but we have managed to educate our butcher of what we need so there is no waste and sinues left over anymore

There are lots of people out there who will buy upmarket special treats for their dogs - maybe it is a market you should consider?

Me being a softy with my dog, if I was buying something from a food stall for us and saw a nice sounding version for my dog, I'd certainly buy it.

As you'd be selling them at Fayres, how about this for a name.
