We lost our beautiful Maggie today. We had to take her to the vets and have her put to sleep.

I couldn't leave her there, so I brought her home and buried her in one of her favourite spots in the garden. I laid her on her own blanket and placed her favourite marble between her paws. " Here's your marble Maggie " I said as I stroked her for the last time.

She was just a few days short of thirteen and was as fit as a fiddle up until about five or six weeks ago. There'll never be another Maggie in our lives. She was a one off.

Sorry to hear of the family's loss, it's always a hard time went we loose one of our four legged friends.

All our dogs have come home, and are buried in the garden, we won't have it any other way.

So sorry for you - but I bet you gave her the best life a dog could have.  Tears in my eyes for you - they really are part of your life.
