Its been fairly quiet on the fox trap front since we caught the last fox but things livened up again last night. They set the trap off when they started to dig under the trap to get at the bait. I say 'they' because there were two distinct sets of tracks showing in the mud leading up to the trap. One of the foxes is much smaller than the other one.
I've reset the trap and later on today, I'll cut some gorse and lay it around the sides of the trap where they've been digging and hope that the fox takes the easy route and goes in through the door.

I should get something on film tonight but they might be a bit wary of the trap for a while because I've adorned it with a load of gorse. We'll have to see.

Not so much as a glimpse on camera. They  decided to eat elsewhere last night.

Its been very quiet here on the fox front but there was a lovely set of fox prints in the mud around the chicken sheds. I'll have to get some fresh bait out from the freezer. Karen will be pleased because it will make more room for Pru's sausages.

Get something out and put in a sealed bucket for a few days first, then use that as bait
