Over the weekend, I bought a new, new book. Its a book by Paul Heiney and I'm hoping that it will make for some pleasant night time reading.

I've been trying to read this book for the last few nights but the guy is trying to be too much of a word smith for it to be an enjoyable read. I've found it to be  difficult disjointed. Its a shame, because although he's in a privileged position, I really admire what he's attempted to do. By privileged, I mean that he took on his task knowing that it wasn't essential that his enterprise paid its way. Why don't people write it as it is?
